Every Nomadic Hides piece begins the same way it always has with a single hand, a single hide, and no shortcuts.
We source our leather from small tanneries that treat hide as a byproduct of the cattle industry, not the reason for it meaning every piece we use would otherwise go to waste. No hide is sourced for leather alone, and we work only with suppliers who can trace their materials back to their origin.
From there, every strip is cut, tooled, dyed, and stitched by hand in a small workshop not a factory line. Each patchwork panel is chosen and placed individually, which means no two bags are ever quite the same. What you're holding isn't mass-produced; it's made.
We believe good leather goods should last for years, not seasons and that the people who make them, and the animals whose hides we use, deserve to be treated with respect at every step.
This is slow craftsmanship, made for people who move fast but still care where things come from.
